Antibes is one of the few coastal towns that has a sandy instead of pebble beach. That’s a bit more comfortable. In addition, the city has a beautiful historic centre and the Picasso museum. Here, you can see 200 works by the Spanish artist.
Fort Carre is also special. Napoleon Bonaparte was imprisoned in this medieval fortress in 1794. This way, you can combine relaxation with culture and a wonderful holiday is guaranteed!

Travel information

Antibes is the second largest town on the Côte d'Azur. From Amsterdam it just takes nine hours and 34 minutes to get to the most beautiful coast of southern France.

From the Netherlands, you travel with Eurocity Direct to Brussels South/Midi or with Eurostar to Paris where you change over to the TGV which will take you to Antibes.
