You can also easily collect a Blue-bike at Diest station. This is the Belgian equivalent of the OV-fiets. The difference with the Dutch OV-fiets is that in Belgium, you need a subscription to use the bikes. You pay a small annual fee. Then, you can use the bike for one or more days at a low cost.
