Bonn, the former capital of West Germany, is located in a region with fairytale castles and vineyards. Try exploring it by bike! There are various cycling and walking routes available for young and old. Then cycle along the Drakenburg Castle. At 300 years old, it’s one of the most popular attractions in the region. The castle also overlooks the Drachenfels, a 321-metre-high silent volcano.
So, there's plenty to see a short distance from home.
