Domestic trains

Besides Intercity services and high-speed train connections, you can also travel across the border with domestic all-station trains. These connections are offered by domestic service providers.

All-stations train to Antwerp and Li?ge

You can travel from Roosendaal to Antwerp and from Maastricht to Li?ge once an hour with the Belgian railway service NMBS. You can purchase tickets for this journey with NS International, but you can also purchase a ticket for the going Belgian domestic rate at a NMBS ticket machine at Roosendaal station. It is possible to have a subscription for this route by buying an NS border subscription with NS up to the border (Vise or Roosendaal) and to travel from the border with a Belgian border subscription on the Mobib card (can be bought at an NMBS counter). For the route Maastricht-Li?ge the so-called is Euregio ticket is available, a special day ticket that allows you to travel through the entire Euregio.

An Abellio all-stations train will run once an hour between Arnhem Centraal and D?sseldorf Hbf. In the Netherlands, the train will only call at Arnhem and Zevenaar. Passengers departing from another station can buy a ticket on the NS International website. Please note that your Abellio ticket is not valid for travelling with ICE International between Arnhem and D?sseldorf.

All-stations train from Heerlen to Herzogenrath and Aachen

You can travel with the all-stations train from Arriva once an hour to Herzogenrath and Aachen. For this you can simply check in and out at Arriva, also in Germany there are posts to do this. You can also buy tickets at the ticketmachine from DB at the station of Heerlen or Heerlen de Kissel station. If you want to travel further than Aachen, you can buy tickets at the website of NS International. All-stations train from Groningen to Leer

You can travel from Groningen to Leer once an hour with Arriva. You can purchase tickets for this journey with NS International, but you can also check in and out using your OV-chip card at the going domestic rate.
