Discover Lambiekland by bike

From Halle, you can join the Lambic-Gueuze Route. This 43-kilometre route takes you through Hallerbos forest and the hilly countryside around Halle and Beersel.

Along the way, you will pass several breweries and gueuze blending houses. At Boon Brewery, for example, you can see how lambic is made and how young and old lambic are blended to make gueuze. Check the opening hours before you leave and book a guided tour in advance.

Taking your bike on the train

Bringing your own bike? Buy an international bicycle ticket before you travel. You will also need a regular train ticket for yourself.

Eurocity Direct has a limited number of bicycle spaces, and you cannot reserve a space. A bicycle ticket therefore does not guarantee a place for your bike.

Travel safely: if you drink alcohol along the way, plan your brewery visit for the end of your bike ride. Do not get back on your bike after drinking alcohol.
