When is the Christmas market in Cologne?

Many Christmas markets in Cologne are open from 16 November to 23 December 2026 (subject to change). On Remembrance Sunday, 22 November, several markets remain closed all day, while others do not open until after 6.00 pm. We therefore recommend checking the opening hours of the market you plan to visit in advance.

The high-speed ICE train runs from the Netherlands to Germany and Switzerland daily. With ICE you can relax and travel quickly and comfortably. From the Netherlands you simply board an ICE train and get off 2.37 hours later at the Christmas market in Cologne.
