Flexible Eurostar tickets to Belgium/France

You can book Eurostar flexibly with any fare. Up to 1 hour before departure, you can change the departure date or time of your ticket. Only the possible price difference will be charged between the old and the new ticket.

You can cancel your ticket up to 7 days before departure, but you will have to pay a cancellation fee in addition to any price difference. You can cancel Premium tickets up to 30 minutes before departure. The costs are:

• Cancellation fee Standard: € 25 per ticket.
• Cancellation fee Comfort: € 25 per ticket.
• Cancellation fee Premium: none.

Flexible booking Eurostar to London

All purchable Eurostar tickets are flexible. Up to 1 hour before departure, you can change the departure date or time of your ticket. Only the possible price difference will be charged between the old and the new ticket.

You can cancel your ticket up to 7 days before departure, but you will have to pay a cancellation fee in addition to any price difference. You can cancel Business Premier tickets up to 30 minutes before departure. The costs are:

• Cancellation fee Standard: € 25 per ticket.
• Cancellation fee Standard Premier: € 25 per ticket.
• Cancellation fee Business Premier: none.

Flexible booking Eurocity Direct en EuroCity

You can also buy a flexble ticket for Eurocity Direct and EuroCity. There are two rates:

• Saver fare: up to and including 1 day before departure, you can change your ticket. You can also then still cancel your ticket at a € 5 fee. On the day of travel, you can no longer cancel or change your ticket.
• Flex-fare: You can change or cancel your ticket up to and including one day before departure. You only pay the difference in price between the old and the new ticket.

ICE and flexibility

There are 2 types of flexible tickets for ICE:

• Sparpreis Europa: You can change or cancel your ticket up to the day of departure for a fee of € 19. On the day of travel, this is not possible.
• Flexpreis Europa: You can change or cancel your ticket free of charge up until the day of departure. You only pay the difference in price, if applicable. Up to one month after the effective date of your ticket, you can change or cancel your unused ticket at a cost of € 19 per ticket. Up to two months after the effective date of your ticket, you can cancel your unused ticket for € 19.

You can only cancel an entire booking and not individual tickets from a booking.

Nightjet flexible booking

You can book Nightjet tickets with the Mid-flex rate.

• You can cancel or change your tickets free of charge up to 15 days before departure. You will, however, have to pay any difference in price to the new ticket.
• You can also cancel or change your booking between 14 days until the day before departure. You will then pay 50% of the ticket price.
• On the day of departure you can no longer cancel or change your ticket.
