Travel responsibly abroad

The Dutch Government has asked us is to limit travel as much as possible. Travelling to countries and areas within the European Union or the Schengen zone with a 'yellow' travel advice is allowed. Travelling to a country or territory color-coded 'orange' is not recommended.

As of January 23, 2020, a curfew will apply in the Netherlands. Travellers who travel abroad or return to the Netherlands by international train are excluded from this. You may, however, be asked to show your ticket.

As of December 1, 2020, it is mandatory to wear a mouth mask in the station and on the platforms throughout the Netherlands. Wearing a mouth mask on the train is also still mandatory.
From 29 December at 0.01 am, people travelling to the Netherlands at more than 30 km from the border, must have a negative PCR test declaration with them on the train, maximum 72 hours old.
