Travel responsibly abroad

The Dutch Government has asked us is to limit travel as much as possible. Travelling to countries and areas within the European Union or the Schengen zone with a 'yellow' travel advice is allowed. Travelling to a country or territory color-coded 'orange' is not recommended.

As of December 1, 2020, it is mandatory to wear a mouth mask in the station and on the platforms throughout the Netherlands. Wearing a mouth mask on the train is also still mandatory.

As of 29 December, people travelling to the Netherlands at more than 30 km from the border, must have a negative PCR test declaration with them on the train, maximum 72 hours old.
More information about the PCR test declaration

Always check the current travel advice of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before, during and after the trip. Also check the guidelines of the countries you are passing through.
