All of these sporting events can be easily reached by train from the Netherlands this time.
Train tickets to France, Germany, England, and Italy for the summer of 2024 are not yet on sale. It is still unclear to us when exactly these tickets will become available. Our expectation is late 2023 and/or early 2024. It varies by train operator.

Can you imagine standing by the roadside at the finish line of the marathon, or attending the new sport of breakdancing? Even if you can't secure tickets, you will enjoy the unique atmosphere and many events in Paris.
The event will take place in Paris from 28 August to 8 September 2024, bringing together 4,400 of the world's most outstanding athletes. Eurostar is also providing transport for the Paralympians to Paris.
Most sports will be in and around Paris. However, there are exceptions for some sports. In addition to Paris, football will be played in Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Nice, Marseille, Toulouse, and Saint-Etienne. There will also be sailing in Marseille.
From June 14th to July 14th, 2024, the European Football Championship will be held in Germany. With as many as ten stadiums in ten different host cities, Germany has been selected as the host country. During the Championship, 51 matches will be played, with the final taking place on July 14th in the Berlin stadium.
The schedule has not yet been announced, and therefore the host cities for the Dutch team are also not yet known. The qualification begins on March 23rd, 2023, and will conclude in November 2023, after which the participating countries in the Championship will be known.
Are you a tennis lover? Then you will be thrilled by Roland Garros in Paris (May 20th to June 2nd) and Wimbledon in London (July 1st to July 14th). These major tennis tournaments attract many visitors each year, who come to admire the great 'tennis heroes'. From the preliminary rounds to the finals; these tennis tournaments remain exciting to watch.
Cycling enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the annual cycle tour through France. With the grand start in the historic centre of Florence, the 111th edition will begin in beautiful Italy. The full route is not yet known.
The Tour starts on June 29th, 2024, and finishes on July 21st. Traditionally, the riders always finish in Paris, but this time they may finish in Nice. This is due to safety concerns preventing two major sporting events in Paris.
