Strike in Belgium 26 January till 30 January

Situation
There is a strike in Belgium from 25 January 22:00 until Friday 30 January 22:00. The strike will impact train traffic in Belgium and the Netherlands.
EuroCity and Eurocity Direct will run a limited service. Eurocity Direct will not depart and stop at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam Zuid, Almere Centrum, Almere Buiten of Lelystad Centrum. The start and final station of this train is Rotterdam Centraal. Check the cancelled trains at the bottom of this page.
Other (regional) trains to, from and through Belgium are exptected to run a limited service. The actual impact is not yet known.
At this moment 2 Eurostar trains are cancelled. Check the cancelled trains at the bottom of this page.
Check your journey via the travel planner shortly before departure.
• On 26 January untill 30 January a EuroCity or Eurocity Direct ticket is valid for travel the entire day on any EuroCity or Eurocity Direct train.You don't need to exchange your ticket.
• Your ticket for 26 untill 30 January is also valid for travel on 25 or 31 January on the train type you booked without exchanging it. Tickets for EuroCity are not valid for Eurocity Direct on these dates and vice versa.
• Did you book a ticket for Eurocity Direct from or to Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam Zuid, Almere Centrum, Almere Buiten of Lelystad Centrum. Your ticket is than valid to travel with NS trains to Rotterdam Centraal or from Rotterdam Centraal to you final destination.
• Tickets for regional trains via Roosendaal border are also valid on EuroCity on 26 untill 30 January. (Not on Eurocity Direct.)
• Eurostar and TGV tickets do not have flexible validity, and other tickets are not valid for travel with Eurostar or TGV trains.
The barcode on your ticket will not work on other travel days. Go to the Information kiosk at the gates and press the blue i-button for help.
If you would like to travel on another date than mentioned above, you can contact NS International Customer Service to exchange your ticket. Be aware: for EuroCity and Eurocity Direct you can use your current ticket for travel from 25 January untill 31 January. For conditions, check "ticket validity" above.
If you want to cancel your ticket, you can do so in your My NSI account. No cancellation costs are charged for the cancelled trains. If you cancel your ticket through Customer Service, a service fee may be charged. Don't have an account yet? Then create one quickly and easily.
If besides EuroCity, Eurocity Direct and/or other regional Belgian trains you are also travelling with Eurostar or TGV, costs may be charged for changing or cancelling your ticket.

Due to the strike, the timetable of Eurocity Direct has been changed from 26 till 30 January. Please note: The travel planner has not been adjusted yet. This will happen as soon as possible.
Good to know: All Eurocity Direct trains that do run, will run from and to Rotterdam Centraal. The trains will not stop at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam Zuid, Almere Centrum, Almere Buiten en Lelystad Centrum.
