How to walk to the train and the arrival at Gare Hausmann Saint-Lazare

  • From the train towards the RER: When the train arrives, walk all the way from the platform to the station concourse. Follow the RER signs and take the escalator or stairs down..
  • Follow the signs for RER E, towards Nanterre-La-Folie
  • Go through the gates: Do you have a ticket on your mobile phone or a Navigo Pass? Put your phone or ticket on top and the gate will open.
    Do you have a paper ticket? Keep it, as you may need it later.
    • Take the E, Ouest (West) direction.
    • Get off the RER E at the first station, Hausmann Saint-Lazare. Stops are also signposted and announced on the train.
    • Follow the signs to Gare St-Lazare.
    • Once inside the station, take a few escalators up. Gare Saint-Lazare is a large shopping mall.
    • Follow the signs to Lignes Normandes.
    • Please note: it is still about an 8-minute walk before you reach the trains.

    • From the train towards the RER: After the train arrives, walk down the platform to the station hall. Follow the signs indicating RER E (pink) and take the escalators down.
    • Go through the gates: Do you have a ticket on your mobile phone or a Navigo Pass? Put your phone or ticket on top and the gate will open.
      Do you have a paper ticket? Keep it, as you may need it later.
    • Travel towards Gare de Chelles Gournay, Est (east)
    • Get off at the first stop which is Magenta, Gare du Nord. Stops are also signposted and announced on the train.
    • On arrival, follow the Grandes Lignes sign.
    • The digital departure boards are located at the entrance to Hall 1.
