Changing trains in Paris Montparnasse

From the train to the metro: When the train arrives, walk all the way from the platform to the concourse. Follow the signs for M and take the escalator or stairs down.
Take the metro, line 4, direction Bagneux.
Go through the gates: Do you have a ticket on your mobile phone or a Navigo Pass? Put your phone or ticket on top and the gate will open.
Do you have a paper ticket? Keep it, as you may need it later.
Get off at the 14th stop of the metro 4 direction Bagneux which is Montparnasse-Bienvenue. Stops are also signposted and announced on the metro.
Follow the signs for Trains Grandes Lignes.
Take the long escalator to Gare Montparnasse. It's still a 10 minute walk!
Take the escalator up a few floors. Follow the signs for Trains Grandes Lignes.
Walk under the large screens.

From the train to the metro: Follow the signs that say M and go down a couple of escalators.

Do you have a paper ticket? Keep it, you may need it later.
Follow the signs for the Metro 4 towards Porte de Clignancourt.
Take the long escalator to the metro 4.
Get off at the 14th stop, which is Gare du Nord. Stops are also signposted and announced on the metro.
On arrival, follow the Grandes Lignes sign.
Walk towards Hall 1.
The digital departure boards are located at the entrance to Hall 1.
